The school is collecting a gold coin donation for Harvest Cambodia. Mrs Lever and Mrs Dickson are volunteering to assist in the training of teachers with Harvest Cambodia. All moneys collected will be donated directly to Harvest Cambodia.
Harvest Cambodia is an Australian non-profit charity organisation that works with Cambodian communities to provide growth through education. Harvest Cambodia supports Cambodian teachers in the development of their skills in order to provide Cambodian children with access to quality education. They believe that education is the key to sustainable change. Education empowers future generations by giving them skills needed to make positive changes in their lives. Harvest is currently working with, Stepping Stones School, a village school near Siem Reap in Cambodia to plan and implement teacher training programs. An essential part of these programs involves training and mentorship from Australian educators. If you would like to donate directly, follow the web site below.
