At Mayfield SS there are a variety of clubs and groups for our students to become involved with. All clubs have teacher guidance and operate during first break (during play time)
Meet every Monday in the lunch break and children Prep to Year 6 are taught basic gardening skills such as seed propagation, harvesting and organic pest control methods as well as learning how to compost food waste and maintain a level of sustainability within our school.
Children also conduct weekly "Farmers' Markets" where they prepare the fresh produce for sale and create packaging and manage costings.
Open to all students.
Triple M (Mayfield Music Maestros):
Triple M is the name of our Mayfield State School choir.
Every week, the choir meets during their lunch break to learn exciting new songs with Mrs Metcalfe.
Triple M have many opportunities to perform during the school year - at our 'Afternoons of Music', Music Count Us In, Anzac Day & Remembrance Day.
Triple M is for interested boys & girls who like to sing in Year 3 - Year 6.
It is free of charge.
Each Friday students flock to the Computer Lab to work individually or in teams in a safe environment.
